Beside some exciting (and soon to be disclosed) Gameprojects I am currently involved with, Ive been busy creating the complete artwork for a fun new iPhone title lately. Its kind of a castle defense game, has a neat physics-engine and some surprisingly gory moments. Below you can catch some impressions of this nasty little piece of fingertainment...more infos soon to come!

Pants...
In my favourite comic/graphics forum they have that thread where a few guys tell a story picture by picture alternately...the last picture ( a great one by pascal campion) had a bunch of (too many) indians in red pants sitting on a branch...hopeless.
you can see my quickpainted answer below...nothing spectacular but fun to do (the birds are some of pascals significant characters btw).

The roll...
Yesterday I was travelling by train for several hours. Two little boys were watching me curiously while I was working on my notebook with THE WACOM. They obviously never saw such a thing before (..oh dear,I just remember how MY first time of seeing a wacom was...). To show them how to color with a graphic tablet, I picked one of those pencil doodlescans that already started to get dusty on my harddrive.

Galaxy Girl...

New PhotoShop pic today..!
Originally this painting started as a simple face doodle but became serious after a while...Like in most of my conceptless works, its always a bit more timeconsuming and difficult to work out where I can go with the static settings and elements I already have...on the other hand its fun to see, how your ideas around the basic drawing finally went...

Heat Vision and Jack!

Today I found out that Heat Vision and Jack is broadcasted by YouTube...yheah!!
Its been a while that Ive seen it, the more it was fun to watch again...
Heat Vision and Jack was a trashy comedy in the late 90s produced and directed by Ben Stiller that starred Jack Black as an astronaut (!) who gets superpowers after a space accident, and fights crime with the talking motorcycle Heat Vision (voice of Owen Wilson), powered by the mind of his unemployed roommate.
Created as a 1999 pilot for Fox, this series was passed over by the company despite critical acclaim from those few ones who've got a chance to see it.
So watch it now online broadcasted by YouTube!

Daily madness I...
I was searching for something different, but instead I found in the catacombs of my pc this relict of an almost forgotten ruler, brought to earth once by "Kinder-Suprise" ... overwhelmed by those old (but still familiar) memories I somehow felt responsible to share it with the posterity...sure it HAS some deeper meanings...but better dont ask...just obey...and experience the power of

FLIPBOOK!
...is the name of another place in the net for your online doodlelings...the difference to most common Oekaki boards is, that Flipbook! (an interactive Flash/PHP application) allows you to animate your online scribbles...the functions may be a bit limited but its easy and quick handling makes it fun... definitely worth a try..

Join the Tiki...!

...was the motto of the last Monsun openair party 2005.
Everything was decorated with typical south pacific symbols, patterns and stereotypes.... Beside the loads of bamboo torches, palms and hawaii shirts, I designed some handcarved Tikimasks again ...below you can see 3 of them, which are still decorating my
bedroom...
